The Central Region’s District Health Boards are increasing consumer input into the planning and delivery of regional health care services with a new, more flexible engagement model that will better meet planners’ and users’ needs and also ensure representation at the highest level of regional health services decision making.
The Consumer Advisory Network (CAN) Model is a regional collaborative resource which aims to increase the diverse range of consumer engagement throughout the Central Region.
Central TAS is providing coordination and support for the CAN Model by linking into already existing consumer links and networks at a local level.
